Dances
Depending on the audience a selection is made from our repertoire of over 100 dances. The one time we surprise you with the daredevil “Horlepiep” (Hornpipe), a wild sailors’ clog dance, and the other we will endear you with the romantic ‘IJswals’ (Ice Waltz). Or be amazed by the men’s strength as they lift the women up high in ‘Gort met stroop’ ( Barley gruel with treacle). The regional classics are the ‘Driekusman’ from the Veluwe area (province of Gelderland) and the ‘Hendriks Mazurka’. Several dances in our repertoire are choreographed by the choreographer Elsche Korf.

Nijmegen
From our own area we bring you a series of dances based on the musical ‘De Oude Stad’ (The Old Town) from 1985. People still sing along at the top of their voices when they hear the very first notes of “Sientje laat me los” (Sientje let me go) and to many a former citizen of Nijmegen the Waalkade (the docks) will come to mind when watching the 'Kaaisjouwers' (dock-workers).

The local dances from Nijmegen are choreographed by choreographer Esther Willems, who also realised the original musical.
